George Argyros Jr. is the founder and president of Elite Financial Group, a holding company that specializes in comprehensive life insurance products. Motivated to give back to his community, George Argyros Jr. recently helped fund a new 900-seat auditorium and a gymnasium at Mariners Christian School in Costa Mesa, California.
These two buildings are just one component of a push to modernize learning at the school through its “Bright Future” initiative. In addition, the Mariners Institute of the Arts will receive six new instruction rooms, learning spaces for both kindergarten and transitional kindergartners, and new furnishings and HVAC infrastructure. These projects represent the first phase of development in the “Bright Future” campaign.
The school is finishing fundraising efforts for phase two, which is scheduled to start in June 2019. This phase will include upgrades to elementary and middle school learning spaces at Mariners Christian School, new window treatments, and security upgrades.
